The Brno chair also known as MR50 was designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1929-1930 for the Tugendhat House in Brno, Czechoslovakia. The Brno chair is a modernist cantilever chair with very clean lines, consisting of a steel frame in a single piece, bent into a C-shape. It is one of the most luxurious and elegant of all cantilever chairs and was inspired by the earlier designs of Mart Stam.
There are two versions of this chair, one in tubular steel and one in flat steel. Our exceptionally high quality Brno-inspired chair is based on the flat steel version and is upholstered with luxurious Italian premium leather. The heavy, sturdy polished stainless steel frame is 12mm thick crafted from grade 304 steel.
Our products are reproduced to the style of the original design.

All orders placed before 3.00PM Monday-Friday will be sent the same day for next working day delivery. All orders placed after 3.00PM on Friday will be sent the following Monday for delivery on Tuesday, along with all orders placed on the weekend.
Please note the couriers can deliver anytime between 8AM -6PM so someone needs to be in at the property to sign for it.
